2.78 billion euros authorized for payment within the 2022 Campaign.

The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) continues the authorization of payments for the applications submitted in the 2022 Campaign, in accordance with the deadlines provided by European legislation!

APIA has authorized a total payment of 2.78 billion euros during the period of October 16, 2022, to May 5, 2023, including:

  • 2.66 billion euros for the 2022 Campaign, allocated as follows:1.8 billion euros from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF);512.24 million euros from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and co-financing from the National Budget (BN1);137 million euros from the European Union's Recovery Instrument (EURI);219.73 million euros from the National Budget.
  • 1.8 billion euros from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF);
  • 512.24 million euros from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and co-financing from the National Budget (BN1);
  • 137 million euros from the European Union's Recovery Instrument (EURI);
  • 219.73 million euros from the National Budget.
  • Market measures, foreign trade, promotion of agricultural products, and state aid amounting to 118.69 million euros, including:32 million euros from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF);86.69 million euros from the National Budget.
  • 32 million euros from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF);
  • 86.69 million euros from the National Budget.

It should be noted that "Payments under support schemes and measures referred to in Article 67(2) shall be made from 1 December to 30 June of the following calendar year.

Payments shall be made in a maximum of two installments, during the mentioned period, in accordance with Article 75 of Regulation (EU) No. 1306/2013 of 17 December 2013 on the financing, management, and monitoring of the common agricultural policy and repealing Regulations (EEC) No. 352/78, (EC) No. 165/94, (EC) No. 2799/98, (EC) No. 814/2000, (EC) No. 1290/2005, and (EC) No. 485/2008 of the Council."
