In order to launch the session for receiving financing applications, the Agency for Financing Rural Investments has published on the official website, www.afir.info, the Applicant's Guide related to submeasure 19.1 "Preparatory support" for the elaboration of the Local Development Strategy (SDL) within measure 19 Support for LEADER local development, financed from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (FEADR).

The main objective of this sub-measure is aimed at increasing the collaboration capacity, necessary for the development of integrated strategies, which will give local actors and representatives from different fields of activity the opportunity to work together and interact in favor of the communities in the territories covered by the Action Groups Local (GAL).

At the same time, submeasure 19.1 targets institutional building and networking actions, with the aim of preparing and implementing an integrated local development strategy for a certain area.

The preparatory support is granted up to the maximum amount of 30,000 euros, as follows: expenses for the animation of the territory, granted according to the number of inhabitants existing in the territory concerned, respectively 0.22 euros/inhabitant, but which will not exceed 15,000 euros and the expenses related to the development of the strategy which will be at most 15,000 euros, regardless of the size of the territory and the population covered by the SDL.

Support for this sub-measure is 100% non-refundable. No advance is granted under this sub-measure. Reimbursement of eligible expenses is made in a maximum of two payment installments. The preparatory support financed under submeasure 19.1 is addressed to local private-public partnerships for the elaboration of the Local Development Strategy.
