General Assembly of the Romanian Pig Meat Producers Association – March 20, 2025

On March 20, 2025, the General Assembly of the Members of the Romanian Pig Meat Producers Association (APCPR) took place at the "Gheorghe Ionescu-Șișești" Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences in Bucharest.

During the General Assembly, internal documents related to the association’s activities were presented and approved, and topics of interest for members were discussed.

One of the key points of the meeting was the election of the President, Vice Presidents, and members of the Board of Directors for the 2025-2028 term.

Following the vote cast by APCPR members, the composition of the APCPR Board of Directors for the 2025-2028 period is as follows:

The priority objectives of the APCPR Board of Directors for the 2025-2028 term have been established considering the main challenges currently facing the pig meat production sector.

Among these, we highlight:

• Active engagement with national and European authorities, collaborators, and the media to promote and support the interests of the Association’s members.
• Launching a campaign to promote pork meat produced in Romania.
• Continuing APCPR’s activities within the European WelFarmers project.
