Approval of the ceilings allocated to transitional national aids in the livestock sector

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) has posted a draft Decision for the approval of the ceilings allocated for national transitional aid in the zootechnical sector for the 2023 application year on its decision-making transparency platform.

This draft legislative act approves the ceilings allocated for national transitional aid in the zootechnical sector for the 2023 application year and establishes the method of calculating the amount per unit of measure of national transitional aid in the zootechnical sector.

The funds are allocated for the decoupled production scheme, bovine species, in the milk sector, for the decoupled production scheme, bovine species, in the meat sector, and for the coupled production scheme, ovine/caprine species.

The budgetary impact is approximately 670,271,000 lei, or 134,768,480 euros from the state budget, through the budget approved for the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for the year 2024, representing national transitional payments for the 2023 application year.

It should be noted that the specific documents to be submitted together with the payment application, as well as the conditions for granting national transitional aid in the zootechnical sector, are provided for in Section 2 of MADR Order No. 80/2023, with subsequent amendments and additions, articles 95-102.

The granting of national transitional aid contributes to ensuring the financial capital necessary for carrying out specific activities in the animal husbandry sector.
