The Farmers' Association "Tara Lovistei," with great prestige in the Romanian farming and animal husbandry environment, will participate for the first time in the international expo-conference Meat.Milk., which will take place on May 27th and 28th at the Alpin Hotel in Poiana Brasov.
The Agricultural Association "Tara Lovistei", based in the town of Titesti, Valcea County, CIF RO28419557, was founded in 2011.
The purpose of the association is to provide direct support primarily to sheep, goat, and cattle breeders, as well as agricultural producers, forest owners, poultry and beekeepers, for the increase and diversification of agricultural production, and for the more efficient valorization of the products obtained.
Additionally, through the activities organized by the association, farmers have the opportunity to market their farm products, natural products with exceptional taste, prepared according to ancient recipes, and at the same time to present ancestral customs and traditions, contributing to the preservation of Romanian culture and spirituality.
Responding to the farmers' requirements, the association has expanded its activities and obtained authorization as an SNIIA User, providing services for the identification, registration, and tagging of animals. It has also obtained accreditations for conducting Official Controls of Productions to determine genetic quality and the registration of animals in the genealogical registers of sheep and goat breeds. The association is registered and issues, free of charge, in 79 localities, the Advisory Opinion necessary for the issuance by mayors of Producer Certificates, according to Law no. 145/2014 with subsequent modifications and completions, etc.
The association has a total of 1540 affiliated members and operates in the counties of Valcea, Sibiu, Olt, Gorj, Buzau, Prahova, Arges, Bistrita-Nasaud, with sheep and goat breeders, association members having approximately 380,000 animals.
The Agricultural Association "Tara Lovistei" is always close to people, to farmers, listens to them, guides them, makes their problems known, and solves them as much as possible so that farmers can have a decent life from their work, obtain better quality products, market their products at fair prices, be proud of their animals and work, love the mountains, traditions, and not leave the villages where they were born and live.
