The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has received several requests from potential beneficiaries to modify the deadline for submitting proposals for renewable energy production projects under the competitive bidding procedure. This modification aims to establish a later opening date than the originally set date of 09.11.2023.

The reason given is that the period between the publication of the Guide on the website and the opening date of the session is insufficient for the preparation of these projects. Additionally, a request has been made for an extended interval of more than 15 days for the submission of these projects.

To accommodate these requests, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) has proposed a change in the deadline for submitting proposals for renewable energy production projects within the competitive bidding procedure. The new dates proposed are as follows:

Opening date and time of the competitive bidding procedure: 20.11.2023 at 8:00 AM

Closing date and time of the competitive bidding procedure: 15.12.2023 at 11:59 PM.

To implement these changes, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Order no. 484/08.11.2023 has been issued, approving the Applicant's Guide for accessing the Aid Scheme for supporting investments in new capacities for the production of electric energy from renewable sources for self-consumption by enterprises in the agricultural and food industry sector, version 2. The approved guide can be found here: https://www.madr.ro/acte-normative-aprobate/8594-ordin-aprobare-ghid-solicitant-accesare-schema-capacitati-producere-energie.html

It is worth noting that Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Order no. 466/01.11.2023 previously approved the Applicant's Guide for accessing the Aid Scheme for supporting investments in new capacities for the production of electric energy from renewable sources for self-consumption by enterprises in the agricultural and food industry sector.

As of 01.11.2023, the approved guide has been published on the MADR and AFIR websites, and potential beneficiaries have submitted proposals and observations.
