In the context of the Romanian Government's action through the Emergency Ordinance on the temporary measure to combat the increase in prices of certain agricultural and food products, Auchan has not only ensured its full implementation but also implemented an additional price reduction for many products covered by the regulatory act to ensure a stronger effect during its implementation.

"Protecting the purchasing power of Romanians by offering low prices and concrete savings solutions has been and remains a priority for us. During the government's initiative, we not only comply with the legal requirements according to the Emergency Ordinance but also make significant efforts to provide additional discounts for the benefit of our customers," said Tiberiu Dănețiu, Marketing Director of Auchan Romania.

Below, for informational purposes, are some examples of products among the 100+ items that receive additional support from Auchan. These products fall within the scope of the Emergency Ordinance no. 67/2023 regarding the temporary measure to combat the increase in prices of certain agricultural and food products.

We clarify that the price applied before the Emergency Ordinance refers to the usual price of the product (outside of promotional actions or special events) practiced before the implementation of the regulatory act. The price after the Emergency Ordinance refers to the resale price after the application of the ordinance, which includes the additional reduction offered by Auchan as part of its commitment to support the government's actions regarding certain basic products.

To ensure the proper and accurate information of Auchan's customers, all discounted products subject to the Emergency Ordinance will be easily identifiable on the shelves, marked with a special label.

According to the Emergency Ordinance 67/2023, the agricultural and food products subject to this project are:

• Plain white bread weighing between 300-500 grams, excluding specialties.
• 1L of consumable cow's milk with 1.5% fat, except for UHT.
• Bulk cow's milk cheese (telemea).
• Plain yogurt made from cow's milk with 3.5% fat, with a maximum weight of 200 grams.
• 1 Kg of "000" white wheat flour.
• 1 kg of cornmeal (mălai).
• 10 chicken eggs of size M.
• 1L of sunflower oil.
• Fresh chicken meat (Chicken meat, under the application of this emergency ordinance, refers to whole chicken, chicken pieces, whole chicken legs with bones and chicken wings, standard variant).
• Fresh pork meat (Pork meat, under the application of this emergency ordinance, refers to pork works, pork leg with and without bones, pork shoulder).
• Fresh bulk vegetables (Fresh bulk vegetables, under the application of this emergency ordinance, refer to tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, dried beans, carrots, Bianca bell peppers, and Kapia bell peppers).
• Fresh bulk fruits (Fresh bulk fruits, under the application of this emergency ordinance, refer to red and golden apples, plums, watermelons, table grapes).
• Fresh white bulk potatoes.
• 1 Kg of white granulated sugar.
