According to the Mountain Areas Agency , recently, the Deputy General Director of the National Agency of the Mountain Area, Mr. Gheorghe Hirlav, participated as a speaker in the panel dedicated to agriculture and the food industry at an event held in the Agriculture, Forestry, Food Industry, and Specific Services Committee Room of the Chamber of Deputies.

This panel brought together, under the umbrella of the "Bucharest Leaders' Summit: the Future is Now," individuals with experience and a decisive role in agriculture and the food industry, both from the perspective of public institutions and the Romanian State, as well as from the perspective of the private sector.

The topics presented by the ANZM representative  focused on:

• The mountain area of Romania;
• Support programs for small producers in mountain areas;
• Professional training courses;
• The role and importance of Local Gastronomic Points, present and future, in supporting and developing mountain communities.
