According to a briefing issued by AFIR on September 16, 2025, more than 87% of the total budget allocated for the current year has already been contracted, mainly for measures dedicated to the purchase of machinery, the installation of young farmers, and investments in crop farms.
The only funding lines still active, according to the official calendar, are those for: processing and marketing of agricultural products (DR-22), support for the livestock sector (DR-20), as well as the scheme for farm digitalization (DR-27), which is currently under public consultation.
AFIR warns that the funds available for these calls are limited, and projects will be financed in order of their score. Farmers who have not yet prepared their documentation risk losing the last major financing window of 2025.
Representatives of consultancy organizations recommend that interested beneficiaries act urgently, as the closure of sessions is expected no later than mid-October. Some calls will be oversubscribed, while others will be postponed until 2026.
