The National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) informs that the 2023 edition of the Conference will take place from October 11 to October 12, 2023, in Bucharest, at Hotel Ramada Plaza, Bd. Poligrafiei no. 3-5 A, in the Australia hall, starting at 9:00 AM.

The conference aims to transfer knowledge within the risk assessors' community by facilitating the exchange of knowledge and promoting risk assessment tools and methodologies in the areas of responsibility of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).

The event is part of the tailor-made activities carried out by EFSA through the EFSA Focal Point in Romania, with the support of Romania's representatives in the EFSA Advisory Forum and experts from organizations listed under Article 36, and will take place from October 11 to October 12, 2023 (activity 2.10: Effective knowledge transfer across the risk assessment community: facilitation of knowledge sharing and promotion of risk assessment tools and methodologies in select areas of risk assessment).

The first day of the conference is dedicated to topics related to food and human health.

The conference proceedings will address aspects of risk assessment (modern tools and methods), risks associated with food allergies, as well as challenges in food safety.

The topics discussed on the second day of the conference will focus on animal health and welfare, biosecurity, and antimicrobial resistance.
