The largest yogurt producer on the Romanian market is coming to Meat.Milk Conference 2023.  Danone acquired the former Miorița dairy factory in Bucharest in 1996, and three years after its modernization and retechnologization, the first Danone yogurts were produced in Romania.

Currently, 1 million yogurts are distributed daily to Romanian consumers, as well as to 13 other European markets.

Danone Romania processes over 60,000 tons of milk annually, of which approximately 90% is Romanian milk. Just last year, the company collected fresh milk from 22 large farms and over 220 households.
