APAR reports that the Dissemination Conference and Project Finalization for the "Dialogue for Consensus" project - SIPOCA Code 1086 took place at the Faculty of Management and Rural Development within the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine in Bucharest.

This project, co-financed by the European Social Fund through the Operational Program Administrative Capacity (POCA) and implemented by the Association for the Promotion of Romanian Food (APAR), was initiated in July 2022 and will conclude at the end of this month.

The event was attended by representatives of partner NGOs and the Mogoșoaia City Hall, and its main purpose was to disseminate the results obtained within the project.

The overall objective of the "Dialogue for Consensus" project was to strengthen the capacity of non-governmental organizations to engage in the formulation and promotion of local development in Mogoșoaia and the Ilfov County.

By implementing the project activities, the following significant results were achieved:

• Establishment of an extended and functional partnership with the participation of 15 non-governmental organizations, aiming to promote dialogue and collaboration for sustainable local development.
• Conducting a diagnostic study/analysis on local development to identify the main needs and development opportunities in the Mogoșoaia community and Ilfov County.
• Training and certification of 44 individuals from partner NGOs in the field of development, monitoring, and evaluation of local development strategies and policies, to enhance their skills and contribute to decision-making within the associations.
• Development of an evaluation methodology for locally developed strategies, providing a coherent and objective framework for analyzing their impact and effectiveness.
• Development of a methodology for social dialogue among community members, ensuring active and participatory involvement of all relevant stakeholders in the local decision-making process.
• Creation of a Local Development Manual, offering practical guidelines and recommendations for implementing local development projects and initiatives.

The "Dialogue for Consensus" project had a total eligible budget of 410,966.50 lei. Through the implementation of this project, the promotion of active civil society participation and the strengthening of NGOs' capacity to contribute to the sustainable development of the Mogoșoaia community and Ilfov County were pursued.
