The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has published the indicative calendar for the launch of funding calls under the Pillar II interventions of the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027 for 2026, providing farmers and stakeholders in the agricultural sector with an initial reference regarding the investment pace of the upcoming period.
The first calls are scheduled for February 2026, under intervention DR-19 – “Non-productive investments at farm level,” with a public allocation of EUR 11.76 million. These funds primarily target environmental protection measures, the restoration of agricultural biodiversity, and the adaptation of holdings to climate change, in line with the environmental objectives of the Common Agricultural Policy.
In March 2026, two major support lines will be launched. Intervention DR-14 – “Investments in small-scale farms” has a budget of EUR 108 million, aiming to increase the economic viability of family farms and modernize production capacities. Also scheduled for March is DR-17 – “Investments in the hops and/or table grapes sectors,” with an allocation of EUR 40 million, targeting specialized crops with value-added potential.
The largest allocation is planned for April 2026 through DR-12 – “Investments in strengthening the holdings of installed young farmers and recently established farms,” with nearly EUR 169.6 million. During the same period, DR-18 – “Investments in floriculture, medicinal and aromatic plants,” with EUR 5 million, and DR-34 – “Cooperation and innovation in agriculture through EIP operational groups,” with over EUR 20 million, are also scheduled.
The budgetary structure highlights the priority given to generational renewal, support for small farms, and the development of sectors with high economic value, as well as to accelerating agricultural innovation. The calendar remains indicative and may be adjusted depending on the preparation of the applicant guidelines and the administrative capacity to launch the calls. For beneficiaries, the first months of 2026 become essential for preparing funding documentation.
