The production of fermented milk (yogurt, drinking yogurt, buttermilk, and other similar dairy products) experienced the largest decrease (-15.0%). Cheese production increased by 1.2%.
The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units decreased by 35.7% in April 2023 compared to the previous month.

In April 2023, compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units increased by 14.0%. The largest decrease in production was recorded for drinking milk (-11.7%).
