In April 2023, the quantity of cow's milk collected from farms and collection centers by processing units decreased by 1.4% compared to March 2023 and increased by 14.0% compared to April 2022.

The quantity of cow's milk collected from farms and collection centers by processing units increased by 13.6% in the period of January 1st to April 30th, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022.

April 2023 compared to March 2023:

In April 2023, compared to the previous month, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units decreased by 1.4%. The production of fermented milk (yogurt, drinking yogurt, buttermilk, and other similar dairy products) experienced the largest decrease (-15.0%). Cheese production increased by 1.2%.

The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units decreased by 35.7% in April 2023 compared to the previous month.

April 2023 compared to April 2022:

In April 2023, compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units increased by 14.0%. The largest decrease in production was recorded for drinking milk (-11.7%).

The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units decreased by 50.5% in April 2023 compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

Period of January 1st to April 30th, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022:

In the period of January 1st to April 30th, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units increased by 13.6%.

The highest production increase was recorded for consumer cream (+0.6%). Butter production had the largest decrease (-10.9%).

The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units decreased by 38.8% in the period of January 1st to April 30th, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022.
