The Cluj-based company Testo Romania will participate as a Silver Partner in the 13th International Meat.Milk Expo-Conference, which will take place on May 27th and 28th, 2024, at the Alpin Hotel in Poiana Brasov.

In this capacity, Testo Romania will showcase its latest range of products and services at the booth it will have set up in the Expo section.

Here is how the company presents itself:

"Food must be safe and free from pathogenic germs, which is why food safety is essential. From transportation and storage of products, production and preparation of food, to sale - each stage must comply with HACCP standards.

Testo offers numerous measuring instruments and all-in-one solutions to ensure the quality and safety of food at all times. These are ideal for recording and documenting relevant measurement parameters, such as temperature, cooking oil quality, and humidity, as well as for creating measurement reports.

Food: Safety Comes First

Extremely strict safety standards apply when it comes to the production, storage, processing, and preparation of food. These involve keeping food and beverages away from all germs and harmful pathogens, which can only be achieved if each stage is monitored.

Temperature and humidity in storage rooms must be monitored continuously. If there are discrepancies, immediate action is required to protect consumers and provide safe food. Not only is it important for all products to have proper labeling indicating their origin or special storage and preservation measures, but it is also crucial, for example, to maintain the cold chain uninterrupted.

This must be checked in the interest of food safety. A simple thermometer cannot accomplish the processes mentioned above. Temperature data loggers are needed to record the measured data. Thanks to wireless connections, you can monitor even refrigeration rooms without cable connections. The measured data can be quickly and remotely read through cloud software.

Consumers: Protected by Food Safety Measurement Tools

Consumers should be able to rely on food products that do not harm their health but are beneficial to them. Without firm food safety measures in place, consumers would be exposed to risks posed by germs that can cause illnesses when consuming food.

In particular, types of sensitive foods that require permanent refrigeration and react even to the slightest interruption in the cold chain - would result in complaints from consumers. It is relatively simple to ensure that food and drink are safe.

Quality Management System for Future Food Safety

Digitalization is part of more and more industrial sectors, and the interconnection of equipment via the Internet or the automation of processes is omnipresent. Unfortunately, however, the food sector is at the beginning of implementing such processes.

However, the fact that quality and food safety management will no longer be possible without digital systems is becoming increasingly evident. Thus, an increasing number of managers in the food sector are interested in digital management systems, convinced that these can help improve both product quality and safety and the efficiency of control procedures.

Testo's innovative digital systems provide certainty regarding the quality of your products and compliance with food safety requirements. They are truly customized systems, developed according to the specific needs of each stage, throughout the entire chain, from production, transportation, and storage to the supply or serving of food products.

The functionality of our systems is guaranteed by the compatibility of all components. The sensors, software, and specific service package are developed by Testo, a company with over 60 years of experience in the production of measurement technology, present worldwide through its 33 subsidiaries and over 80 partners, which provide technical support, metrology services, maintenance, and service.

Testo's intelligent sensors allow the measurement of quality parameters such as temperature, humidity, cooking oil quality (%TPM), or pH. Equipped with wireless communication modules, these sensors allow you to achieve a high degree of automation in carrying out verification procedures. Additionally, they provide a certain degree of intelligence through a much more detailed management of alarms and the simulation of the thermal behavior of products."
