Kaufland, a leader in the retail industry, has achieved two new prestigious international certifications, maintaining its position as a Top Employer this year as well, a title awarded by the Top Employers Institute from the Netherlands, as well as the Employer Branding Star distinction granted by EBnavi.

These results are further evidence of the company's commitment to high standards in the field of human resources and consolidate its position as a top employer in Romania, Moldova, and across Europe.

Kaufland retains its Top Employer title in 2024 for the 9th year in Romania, the 4th year in the Republic of Moldova, and the 6th year at the European level, following a rigorous annual audit process conducted by the Top Employers Institute. This examines multiple aspects of human resources management, from organizational culture to the benefits packages offered to employees.

Kaufland has also received the Employer Branding Star distinction for exceeding the 50% threshold of evaluation criteria, reaffirming its commitment to building a trusted employer brand and team welfare.

Estera Anghelescu, Recruitment and Employer Branding Director at Kaufland Romania & Moldova, emphasized the importance of these recognitions:

"We are delighted to see that our efforts and initiatives are appreciated and validated even by renowned organizations. These two recognitions are a reaffirmation for us of the right direction we are following and a motivation to continuously improve. Our mission is to provide a framework in which every team member can thrive, and being recognized for it honors us."

Thus, the company obtains distinction for its flexible work program, allowing employees to opt for part-time schedules of 2, 4, 6 hours, or full-time.

One of the company's priorities is to respond to the diverse needs of employees by offering a work schedule that promotes a balance between their professional responsibilities and personal life.

Employee recognition is another brand differentiator recognized by EBnavi, a visible aspect of the organizational culture. The company encourages a positive work environment based on collaboration and understanding, where each employee's contribution and merits are appreciated.

The company adopts an approach that allows for a harmonious coexistence between career and family life. An example is the Kaufland Day Care project in Timișoara, which provides non-formal education services for the young or preschool-aged children of employees, free of charge.

This policy includes other benefits such as access to the Bookster library and free courses for children, earning the company recognition as a family-friendly workplace.

The company's commitment to the professional development of employees is another strength identified by EBnavi. Through educational programs and access to various learning resources, Kaufland encourages growth and professional advancement, thereby enhancing the skills and expertise of the team.

With the receipt of these distinctions, Kaufland strengthens its position as a top employer both locally and internationally, setting an example in terms of Human Resources practices as well as Employer Branding.
