ANSVSA Holds Strategic Meeting with Cattle Sector Representatives on Foot-and-Mouth Disease Prevention

A new meeting took place at the headquarters of the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA) with representatives of the Romanian cattle farming sector, aimed at identifying the most effective preventive measures against a potential outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) on Romanian territory.

The discussions were attended by members of the Holstein RO Association and representatives of dairy cattle breeders. Key topics included the current epidemiological situation, recent FMD outbreaks in Hungary and Slovakia, and the necessary measures to protect Romania’s livestock.
