APIA Disburses Emergency Financial Support for Sheep and Goat Farmers Affected by Adverse Weather

The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) has announced that it has completed the disbursement of emergency financial aid for the sheep and goat farming sector, which has been affected by adverse climatic events.

Total Amount Paid

As of now, a total of €39,515,923.14 (equivalent to 196,587,766.01 lei) has been disbursed to 8,080 eligible beneficiaries, of which:

• €21,561,836.35 (107,267,979.64 lei) was financed from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund (EAGF);
• €17,954,086.79 (89,319,786.37 lei) was provided from the state budget, through the 2025 budget of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR).
