The President of the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority (ANSVSA), Alexandru Bociu, has received the official notification from his Algerian counterpart, Mrs. Fairouz Bendahmane, informing us about the approval of veterinary health certificates for the export of sheep and sheep meat.

The confirmation follows negotiations initiated at the beginning of January by ANSVSA with His Excellency Abdelmadjid Naamoune, the Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to Romania.

President Alexandru Bociu has taken all necessary steps to expedite the required formalities and, together with a team of experts from ANSVSA, has addressed the technical requirements of the Algerian side for the export of sheep and sheep meat, considering the particular interest expressed by the Algerian party.

To commence exports as soon as possible, it has been agreed to organize visits to our country by delegations of specialists and interested business people through diplomatic channels.
