Zootechnical Construction Projects in Romania: Over 1 Billion RON in Investments Monitored in 2025

Since the beginning of 2025, the Victa.ro platform has tracked 122 zootechnical construction sites across Romania, covering a total area of 191,014 m² and an estimated value of 1.06 billion RON.

In January alone, 69 new projects were identified in the ZOO/BIO TECH category, including farms, slaughterhouses, and stables.

Top Counties for Zootechnical Investments

The county with the most investments in this sector is Satu Mare, with 9 projects in various construction stages. It is followed by:

• Bihor – 8 projects
• Cluj – 6 projects

Private Sector Dominance

Of the 122 monitored projects, 89 are private investments, accounting for:

• 395.11 million RON in total value
• 130,409 m² in total surface area
