According to PackagingGreen publication, Archroma, a Swiss manufacturer of sustainable chemical solutions, has launched Cartaseal OGB F10, a water-based barrier coating packaging, resistant to oil.

The coating enables paper manufacturers to offer sustainable, high-quality packaging with recyclable and cleanable coating.

The resulting packaging also complies with FDA (Food and Drug Administration) and Bromurated Flame Retardant (BfR) regulations, making it suitable for paper and cardboard production, thus preventing contact with food.

Key features and benefits of Cartaseal OGB F10 include:

- Improved barrier against oil and grease, ensuring the integrity and freshness of the content;

- Resistance to folding without compromising packaging performance;

- Ability to facilitate recycling and cleaning processes, contributing to a more sustainable packaging lifecycle;

- Contains bio-based raw materials, minimizing dependence on petroleum-based substances.
