The Romanian artisanal dairy producer Artesana has received the Go Global 2023 award in the USA for the innovative product of the year. The Go Global Awards are given annually to companies that have demonstrated exceptional success in expanding their operations globally or have such potential.

The company, which produces 100% Romanian dairy products, is already present in the markets of the United Kingdom and Belgium and aims to target other European markets for export. "We are especially pleased that we could share our story and passion for our products. This award is a recognition of all the efforts of the entire Artesana team, without which we would not have enjoyed this success.

We feel extremely proud and inspired to continue innovating and bringing the unique taste of Artesana worldwide. We promise to continue this beautiful story," said Daniel Donici, co-founder of Artesana.

Out of the 3,800 companies enrolled in this year's competition from over 80 countries, only 400 were selected as finalists. Among the companies selected as finalists and winners in the award ceremony was Artesana, the Romanian artisanal dairy producer from Tecuci, Galați County.

The award was presented to Artesana's founders, Alina and Daniel Donici, at the gala held in Providence, USA, for the fact that Artesana uses low-temperature pasteurization techniques in the manufacturing process to preserve the natural properties of milk.

At the same time, the design used on the glass packaging is intended to highlight the cream that forms only in products made from non-homogenized milk.

The award was presented in the presence of high-ranking American officials, such as the Governor of Rhode Island, Dan McKee, Elizabeth M. Tanner, CEO of the Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce - organizers of the Go Global Awards - as well as hundreds of entrepreneurs from around the world selected as finalists in the competition.

After an investment of over six million euros in the second factory, Artesana's dairy production could increase up to tenfold. Artesana ended 2022 with a turnover of five million euros, and for 2023, it estimates a turnover of eight million euros.

In June of this year, Artesana's founders received the "40 under 40" award at the Business Elite Awards Gala for the European region, at an event held in Istanbul.

The international recognition of the merits of the Artesana brand's leadership team aligns with the company's strategy to expand its products for export.

The Artesana brand has been on the Romanian market since August 2012, and in modern retail since August 2013. Artesana products are available in over 1,000 stores nationwide, mainly in modern retail chains, as well as in local networks or specialized stores.
