On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, the opening of a new large Auchan supermarket took place, located within Moșnita City Mall in Moșnița Nouă, Timiș County. This move strengthens the retailer's development strategy in the proximity segment, with the new supermarket being the eighth unit of this format nationally.

Covering a retail area of over 1,600 square meters, Auchan Moșnița offers customers a diverse range of over 12,000 food and non-food products. The store provides a complete range of products at low prices every day, meeting all their needs, from essential products and basic foods to thousands of non-food items for daily use, including pet supplies, household goods, DIY, garden, and more. The store is open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

A significant emphasis is placed on Romanian products, with over 90% of food products sourced from Romanian companies. Auchan has developed important partnerships with Romanian producers, both at the ultra-local and national levels. Auchan has over 70 products in the Auchan chain, representing long-term partnerships that ensure traceability from seed to shelf.

Key sections of the store include "Carmangeria Mea," offering a varied range of meat products, including items from Romanian production, "Legume & Fructe" with carefully selected products from local producers, "Brutăria Mea" with fresh bread and a variety of products prepared in the Auchan laboratory (using only Romanian flour, water, and sourdough), "Pescăria Mea" with fish and quality-controlled specialties, "La Masă" with freshly cooked food, and "Băcănia" with essential products, basic foods, snacks, sweets, and beverages.

Additionally, customers can benefit from a "Pet Zone," offering products for furry friends, including food, accessories, toys, and more. Auchan Moșnița also integrates a generous area for Christmas trees and decorations.

Customers can access services such as CEWE photo services and the free "Închiriere Unelte" (Tool Rental) service. Members of MyCLUB Auchan can rent tools and equipment for home and garden for free for 24 hours. Furthermore, customers can also shop at Auchan Moșnița online by placing an order on auchan.ro and picking it up from the store through the free Click&Collect service.

Customers also have the opportunity to actively contribute to environmental protection efforts by collecting used cooking oil and by purchasing short-term expiry date foods, which are still in perfect consumption condition according to legislation, contributing to reducing food waste.
