Delta din Carpați Association- Doripesco announces the preparation of the fifth edition of the Delta din Carpați – Doripesco Fishing Festival, which will take place at Lacul Noua (Brașov) from August 18th to 20th.
The Delta din Carpați – Doripesco Fishing Festival is part of a project funded through the POPAM 2014-2020 program, focusing on increasing employment rates and enhancing territorial cohesion.
To promote fish consumption among the population in the Central region, specifically in the counties of Brașov, Covasna, and Mureș, the Doripesco team has prepared delicious fish dishes, live concerts by renowned bands, and many other surprises.
The festival will kick off on Friday, August 18th, at Lacul Noua in Brașov. For three days, the Delta din Carpați - Doripesco Association, the event organizer, has prepared a feast that caters to the most demanding culinary tastes. The festival received funding through the Operational Program for Fisheries and Maritime Affairs 2014-2020 (www.ampeste.ro). The funding request was submitted to the FLAG Păstrăvarii Făgărașului (Local Action Group for Fisheries).
Skilled chefs will cook fresh and delicious dishes daily. Alongside the famous carp or trout stew, fish skewers, fish meatballs, and Doripesco fishburgers, the organizers have new surprises in store, including the launch of a special dish:
Fish Kebab, based on an original and truly spectacular recipe. Of course, traditional products that are already well-known in the Romanian and international markets won't be missing, such as:
Traditional Carp Roe Salad (STG certified), Trout Paste, Doripesco Baguette, Fish and Mushroom Spread, Smoked Trout, Smoked Batog Fish, or Smoked Novac from Țara Bârsei (the only product in the fish sector with IGP certification). Visitors will be able to delight their taste buds with both Doripesco products and fish products from other producers.
Of course, a celebration like this wouldn't be complete without renowned bands such as Fly Project, Damian & Brothers, Atomic & Mihaela Grindean, Efthymos & Dionysos Choir, J Meister Brass Band, Ardelenii, and many others.
These are just a few of the special guests at the event. Since nutritional education and a healthy lifestyle are learned from a young age, the organizers will pay special attention to children.
Children will have fun with the Oaki Junior Band, participate in various contests, and create precious memories with their parents at the dedicated photo corner.
As fish feel best in a lake (Lacul Noua), and "well-being" is known through harmony with nature and oneself, at the Delta din Carpați - Doripesco Fishing Festival, visitors will be able to refresh themselves with ARMONIA still mineral water.
