In 2022, through the Glovo platform, 9,229,640 burgers were delivered in Romania, with this dish ranking first in the preferences of Glovo users, followed by shawarma and pizza. This figure represents a significant increase of 40% compared to 2021.

The golden minute of the year in terms of burger consumption was recorded on February 28th, 2022, at 9:44 AM, when Romanians ordered 253 burgers per minute. Additionally, on March 4th, Romanians ordered the highest number of burgers throughout the entire year of 2022.
