Auchan is hosting the "Filiere Week" until April 30, 2024, for the second consecutive year, a unique campaign in Romania dedicated to certified local producers with whom the retailer has long-term partnerships, bringing and promoting on its store shelves a unique range of Romanian products with controlled quality.

During this period, MyCLUB Auchan loyalty cardholders will receive a 10% cashback bonus on their card when purchasing these domestic products. Furthermore, customers will also enjoy in-store tastings for certain items.

Out of over 80 national supply chains, Auchan presents products from categories such as vegetables (tomatoes, carrots, parsley), frozen fruits (blueberries, blackberries), dried fruits, Ceahlău trout, salmon trout, and mussels, dairy products, eggs, organic beef, chicken, lamb, aromatic plants (basil, mint, mixed aromatic herbs), pickled cabbage, as well as honey, jams, oil, etc., which are available in all store locations.

These supply chains are developed alongside farmers and growers who cultivate fruits and vegetables or raise animals, with respect for the environment, people, and animals, in line with the company's ethics.

The supply chains are long-term collaborations with local producers, through which Auchan provides customers with traceable products, from seed to shelf, cultivated and obtained with respect for water consumption and animal welfare. All these products are specially labeled on the packaging with the "We Grow the Best" program label.

"The Filiere Week is an initiative through which we want to promote Romanian producers with whom we have been working for a long time even more, and alongside whom we have developed sustainable partnerships, whose work and dedication deserve to be appreciated on every occasion.

During Filiere Week, we promote over 40 permanent or seasonal supply chains, a unique range of exclusive products, in a specially dedicated area in our stores. Through the supply chain program, we aim to bring as many local, tasty, quality-controlled products to Romanian tables," said Tiberiu Dănețiu, Marketing Director of Auchan Retail Romania.

The supply chains bring benefits to both customers and farmers and producers who have greater predictability of the quantities of products to be delivered and have the certainty of a secure profit, contributing to the development of the local economy.

During Filiere Week, customers will have the opportunity to rediscover products from the La Masă în România range developed by Auchan under the umbrella of the supply chains:

dairy products, cheeses, deli meats. The range consists of over 100 food items, made from natural ingredients, based on Romanian, traditional recipes, exclusively made with producers from Romania.

The products are aimed at all those who appreciate authentic Romanian tastes and those who seek to put as many domestic products on their family tables. Moreover, the La Masă în România range stands out for its excellent quality-price ratio, being the right choice for consumers who prioritize budget efficiency in shopping.

Auchan supports the local economy and Romanian producers, with over 85% of the products on Auchan's store shelves coming from local suppliers, both in the food and non-food segments, and the food range consisting of over 90% of products from Romanian companies. Additionally, out of the approximately 1,200 Auchan brand products, over 900 are made in Romania, with local producers.
