This growth was driven by increases in sales of non-food products, food, beverages, and tobacco, as well as retail trade of automotive fuel in specialized stores.

Overall, the turnover volume of retail trade (excluding trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles) decreased by 17.2%, mainly due to declines in sales of food products, beverages, tobacco (-22.2%), retail trade of automotive fuel in specialized stores (-14.0%), and sales of non-food products (-13.9%). However, the adjusted series, considering working days and seasonality, showed an increase of 3.8%, mainly due to growth in sales of non-food products (+8.1%), retail trade of automotive fuel in specialized stores (+1.7%), and sales of food products, beverages, and tobacco (+0.1%).
