The turnover volume in retail trade (excluding trade in vehicles and motorcycles), in the raw series, in September 2023 compared to the previous month, decreased overall by 4.7%, due to declines in retail trade of motor vehicle fuels in specialized stores (-8.9%), sales of food, beverages, and tobacco (-7.3%), and non-food product sales (-0.2%).

The turnover volume in retail trade (excluding trade in vehicles and motorcycles), adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, decreased overall in September 2023 compared to the previous month by 0.7%, due to declines in retail trade of motor vehicle fuels in specialized stores (-2.4%) and sales of food, beverages, and tobacco (-0.8%). Sales of non-food products increased by 0.5%.

The turnover volume in retail trade (excluding trade in vehicles and motorcycles), in the raw series, in September 2023 compared to September 2022, recorded an overall decrease of 0.9%, due to the decline in retail trade of motor vehicle fuels in specialized stores (-9.3%).

Increases were recorded in sales of food, beverages, and tobacco (+2.9%) and non-food product sales (+0.8%).

The turnover volume in retail trade (excluding trade in vehicles and motorcycles), in the raw series, in the period January 1 - September 30, 2023, compared to the period January 1 - September 30, 2022, recorded an overall increase of 2.0%, due to increases in sales of non-food products (+3.5%) and sales of food, beverages, and tobacco (+3.4%).

Retail trade of motor vehicle fuels in specialized stores decreased by 3.1%.

The turnover volume in retail trade (excluding trade in vehicles and motorcycles), adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, in the period January 1 - September 30, 2023, compared to the period January 1 - September 30, 2022, recorded an overall increase of 2.2%, due to increases in sales of non-food products (+3.7%) and sales of food, beverages, and tobacco (+3.1%).
