In January 2024, compared to the previous month, the amount of cow's milk collected by processing units increased by 3.7%.

The production of cultured milk (yogurt, drinking yogurt, buttermilk, and other similar dairy products) recorded the highest growth (+21.8%), while butter production experienced the largest decrease (-39.2%). The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units increased in January 2024 by 3.6% compared to the previous month.

Compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, in January 2024, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units increased by 2.1%. The largest increase in production occurred in cheese (+15.2%).
