October 2023 compared to September 2023:

• In October 2023, compared to the previous month, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units increased by 0.3%.
• The highest production increase was recorded for consuming cream (+7.9%), while the highest decrease was recorded for cultured milk (yogurt, drinking yogurt, buttermilk, and other similar dairy products) (-5.0%).
• The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units decreased by 4.4% in October 2023 compared to the previous month.

October 2023 compared to October 2022:

• Compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, in October 2023, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units decreased by 4.2%. The production of drinking milk had the highest decrease (-9.8%).
• The highest production increase was recorded for consuming cream (+9.3%). The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units decreased by 18.1% in October 2023 compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

Period January 1–October 31, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022:

• In the period January 1–October 31, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units increased by 7.8%.
• The production of consuming cream recorded the highest increase (+0.9%), while the production of cultured milk (yogurt, drinking yogurt, buttermilk, and other similar dairy products) had the highest decrease (-5.5%).
• The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units decreased by 27.5% in the period January 1–October 31, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022.
