In July 2023, the quantity of cow's milk collected from farms and collection centers by processing units decreased by 5.9% compared to June 2023 and increased by 7.4% compared to July 2022.

The quantity of cow's milk collected from farms and collection centers by processing units increased by 11.4% during the period from January 1st to July 31st, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022.

July 2023 compared to June 2023:

In July 2023, compared to the previous month, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units decreased by 5.9%. Cheese production recorded the largest decline (-15.0%) in July 2023 compared to June 2023.

The production of fermented milk products (yogurt, drinking yogurt, buttermilk, and other similar dairy products) had the highest growth (+6.0%) in July 2023 compared to June 2023.

The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units increased by 35.3% in July 2023 compared to the previous month.

July 2023 compared to July 2022:

Compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, in July 2023, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units increased by 7.4%.

The largest increase in production was registered in butter production (+15.4%), while the largest decrease was observed in cheese production (-5.3%).

The quantity of raw milk imported by processing units decreased by 20.1% in July 2023 compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.

Period from January 1st to July 31st, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022:

During the period from January 1st to July 31st, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022, the quantity of cow's milk collected by processing units increased by 11.4%. The highest production growth was recorded in consumer cream production (+1.4%).

The production of fermented milk products (yogurt, drinking yogurt, buttermilk, and other similar dairy products) had the highest decrease (-8.0%).
