One of the most prestigious dairy processing companies in Romania, Lactate Brăila, will participate in the 13th edition of the Meat.Milk. conference, which will take place on May 27 and 28 at Hotel Alpin in Poiana Brașov.

Lactate Brăila is a Romanian dairy factory established in 2002 in Brăila. The company has developed with the aim of satisfying the dairy preferences of Romanians while also tapping into other markets. The nutritional and taste qualities of its products are appreciated in other countries as well, such as Spain, England, Italy, and Cyprus, where Lactate Brăila is present under the Joliju brand.

In Romania, Lactate Brăila's products marketed under the Joliju brand are available in major retail chains, HORECA, as well as in its own specialized stores in Brăila, where they are highly appreciated by consumers.

Started as a family business with funds from a Sapard investment in 2007, Lactate Brăila is an emerging competitor in the general dairy market in Romania, distinguishing itself through quality and consumer respect. In 2017, the company accessed another investment project with European funds, which enabled the retooling of the section for cheese with cooked paste, such as Cascaval and Mozzarella.
