Minister of Agriculture Florin Barbu to Attend Meat.Milk. 2025

infoGROUP is pleased to announce that Mr. Florin Barbu, Minister of Agriculture, has officially confirmed his participation at the Meat.Milk. 2025 International Expo-Conference, taking place on May 26–27 at Hotel Alpin in Poiana Brașov.

According to the current agenda, Mr. Barbu will arrive at the venue on the evening of May 25, where he will take part in a special edition of the Meat.Milk. TV show, broadcast live on AgroTV. He will also engage directly with participants attending the event.

On May 26, starting at 9:00 AM, the Minister will deliver the opening address of the conference. During his presentation, Mr. Barbu will outline the latest initiatives and measures taken by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MADR) aimed at developing Romania’s meat and dairy sectors, covering both farming and processing components.

A highlight of the event will be a unique interactive session titled “Coffee with the Minister of Agriculture”, where Mr. Barbu will invite farmers and processors to join him for an open roundtable discussion. Topics will include:

• The impact of investments in the national agri-food value chain on the competitiveness of Romanian products
• The MERCOSUR trade agreement
• New U.S. import tariffs – their implications and forecasts for Romania’s food industry

The roundtable will conclude with insights and key takeaways from the attendees.
