According to ANSVSA (National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority), two protocols signed in Beijing will enable exports of dairy products and fishery products from Romania to the Chinese market.

A delegation from Romania is currently in the capital of China to expand the economic cooperation partnership between the two states.

Alexandru Bociu, the President of the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority, signed the Protocol for dairy products exported from Romania to the People's Republic of China and the Protocol regarding the inspection, quarantine, and sanitary requirements for wild aquatic products destined for export from Romania to the People's Republic of China.

This year marks the 75th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations and the signing of the Joint Declaration for establishing a comprehensive partnership of friendship and cooperation between the two states.

It is worth noting that from April 21-22, President of ANSVSA, Mr. Alexandru Bociu, received a delegation from the People's Republic of China, consisting of representatives from the General Administration of Customs, led by Vice Minister Lyu WEIHONG.

During her visit to Romania, Vice Minister Lyu WEIHONG discussed, in addition to the main theme of customs cooperation between the two states, issues related to sanitary and phytosanitary procedures and market access for agricultural products.

In this context, on April 21, President Alexandru Bociu accompanied the Chinese delegation on a visit to a cattle farm and a milk processing unit in Prahova County.

On this occasion, Alexandru Bociu received an invitation from Vice Minister Lyu WEIHONG to visit the General Administration of Customs in Beijing and to continue discussions.
