The Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA) has started the payment authorization for farmers who have applied, within the 2023 Campaign, for the National Transitional Aid - bovine species, schemes granted from the National Budget.

The established amounts for the 2 support schemes are as follows:

NTA 7 - National Transitional Aid, bovine species, decoupled scheme in the milk sector - 24.5133 euros/ton of milk.

NTA 8 - National Transitional Aid, bovine species, decoupled scheme in the meat sector - 75.5002 euros/head of cattle.

For NTA 7, the unit amount will be applied as follows:

- In the case of requests with a reference period of the year 2018, if the applicant has marketed a quantity of milk during the period from March 1, 2022, to February 28, 2023, lower than that of the year 2018, an amount of 0.2 euros/ton of milk will be applied for the difference between the two quantities;

- In the case of requests with a reference period of the year 2018, if the applicant has marketed a quantity of milk during the period from March 1, 2022, to February 28, 2023, greater than or equal to that of the year 2018, an amount calculated of 24.5133 euros/ton of milk will be applied for the quantity of eligible milk in the reference year 2018;

- In the case of requests with a reference period from March 1, 2022, to February 28, 2023, an amount calculated of 24.5133 euros/ton of milk will be applied for the quantity of eligible milk.

For NTA 8, the unit amount will be applied as follows:

- In the case of requests with the reference date January 31, 2018, if the applicant owns, on February 28, 2023, a smaller number of cattle compared to the eligible number on the reference date January 31, 2018, an amount of 0.2 euros/head of cattle will be applied for the difference between the two cattle stocks;

- In the case of requests with the reference date January 31, 2018, if the applicant owns, on February 28, 2023, a number of cattle equal to or greater than the eligible number on the reference date January 31, 2018, an amount calculated of 75.5002 euros/head of cattle will be applied for the eligible number on the reference date;

- In the case of requests with the reference date February 28, 2023, an amount calculated of 75.5002 euros/head of cattle will be applied for the eligible number on the reference date.

We remind you that, according to the provisions of Government Decision no. 124/2024, the ceilings allocated to NTA 7 and 8 for the year 2023 are as follows:

a) 675,00 thousand lei, equivalent to the amount of 18,432.69 thousand euros, for NTA 7;

b) 265,00 thousand lei, equivalent to the amount of 77,463.56 thousand euros, for NTA 8.
