Auchan is donating 100,000 lei to support education in vulnerable environments

This year as well, Auchan continues to support communities with the aim of promoting the development of children in vulnerable environments. The retailer is donating 100,000 lei for eco-friendly private label stationery items purchased by customers to build a new annex, designed as a non-formal education center, at the school in the village of Dorobanțu, Călărași County, as part of the "Present! For the Future" program carried out by the EduAct association. In the context of increasing school dropout rates, over 120 underprivileged students will have the opportunity to have access to a better future through education.

A strong educational system ensures a better future for today's children and future generations, and the project's goal is to provide a suitable environment for the proper development of preschoolers and schoolchildren. The implementation of the project will also involve volunteers (Auchan employees and customers) as part of the Personal Sustainability Program (PSP) #nuepreatârziu (not too late).
