Five Continents company from Botoșani, a quality expert in milk processing and 100% dairy production from milk sourced from Romanian farmers, will exhibit once again at the Expo section of the international Meat.Milk conference, which will take place on May 29th and 30th at Hotel Alpin in Poiana Brasov.

Five Continents Group is a Romanian-owned company focused on dairy product manufacturing.

Following the shareholders' idea of developing a modern factory in the Botoșani area with the latest equipment and state-of-the-art technology, in 2005, a new dairy factory was established on the former industrial platform in Răchiți. The factory was built from scratch with an investment of 1.4 million euros.

Initially, with an area of approximately 1,500 square meters, the processing capacity of the factory was designed for 50,000 liters of milk per day.

In 2008, a significant investment was made to expand the production space, targeting the production of milk in PET bottles, pressed cheeses, and thermoforming packaging.

Following the third stage of technological investment, amounting to approximately 5 million euros in 2017, the production capacity doubled, accompanied by a significant diversification of the product portfolio.

From the very beginning, the raw material used has been 100% milk. To ensure the raw material supply, a milk collection network was organized at the county level of Botoșani, later extended to neighboring counties, including milk production from farms and individual households.

The factory takes pride in this aspect even today, as it continues to give great attention to direct milk collection, significantly contributing to the high quality of its products.

The defining aspects of Five Continents Group products are the taste, defined by the properties of the raw milk, and the intrinsic quality of the products, guaranteed by quality management system certifications applicable within the company (FSSC 22.000, IFS, AMFORI BSCI).
