The volume of retail trade turnover (excluding motor vehicle and motorcycle trade), gross series, in April 2024, compared to the previous month, increased overall by 6.2% due to the increases recorded in the sales of non-food products (+9.3%), retail trade of automotive fuel in specialized stores (+6.6%), and sales of food, beverages, and tobacco (+2.3%).

The volume of retail trade turnover (excluding motor vehicle and motorcycle trade), seasonally and working-day adjusted series, increased overall in April 2024, compared to the previous month, by 0.8%, due to the increases recorded in the sales of food, beverages, and tobacco (+2.3%) and sales of non-food products (+0.7%).

The retail trade of automotive fuel in specialized stores decreased by 2.2%.

The volume of retail trade turnover (excluding motor vehicle and motorcycle trade), seasonally and working-day adjusted series, in April 2024, compared to April 2023, recorded an overall increase of 9.5%, due to the increases recorded in the sales of non-food products (+14.4%), retail trade of automotive fuel in specialized stores (+7.9%), and sales of food, beverages, and tobacco (+5.4%).
