The Day of Human-Animal Interaction (ZIOA), which is in its 23rd edition, will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in the vicinity of the Rectorate building.
Dedicated to World Animal Day, celebrated annually on October 4th, ZIOA will feature numerous educational activities:
Visitors will also be able to explore the Aquatic Complex of USAMV Cluj-Napoca, which will host the Insect Knowledge Workshop (UBB Zoological Museum) and the Reptile Knowledge Corner (UBB Vivarium).
The #ZIOA23 edition will bring together professors, researchers, and student volunteers from our university (Faculty of Zootechnics and Biotechnology; Faculty of Veterinary Medicine), as well as from UBB Cluj-Napoca (UBB Vivarium, UBB Zoological Museum, the Student Organization for Nature). It will also include institutions and NGOs in the field of positive human-animal interactions, particularly those open to offering volunteering opportunities, internships, and employment prospects for future graduates.

Pet owners are welcome at #ZIOA23, but they are requested to ensure that their dogs/cats are up to date with vaccinations and do not exhibit aggressive behavior towards people and other animals.
Animal owners are also asked to have a leash, water, food, and hygiene items necessary to ensure the comfort of their animals.
