MADR will initiate the payment of the subsidy of 100 euros per hectare, aid for the plant sector within the Ukraine crisis framework, namely 100 euros/equivalent LSU for the pig and poultry sectors for the production capacity under minimal welfare conditions owned by each beneficiary in the coming period.
Minister Florin Barbu, along with the leadership team of MADR and the Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture (APIA), has set the target date for initiating these payments as May 15.
"As promised, farmers will receive 100 euros per hectare, and 100 euros per LSU for pigs and poultry. Farmers will receive this money even if the initially estimated ceiling for compensation payments is exceeded.
In this regard, we are considering increasing the budget to ensure the amount of 100 euros for all eligible beneficiaries," stated Florin Barbu.
