At the beginning of June, more precisely on International Children's Day, World Milk Day was celebrated globally as an institutional recognition of the importance of this product and dairy foods in children's growth and human diets in general.

In 2001, World Milk Day was established by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to acknowledge the importance of milk as a global food and to celebrate the dairy sector.

Since then, every year, the benefits of milk and dairy products have been actively promoted worldwide, including how dairy products support the livelihoods of a billion people.

This year's celebration theme focused on celebrating the vital role dairy products play in providing quality nutrition to feed the world.

Dairy products are affordable, nutritious, and an essential part of balanced diets around the world.

Meat.Milk. magazine and the infoGROUP agency, as unconditional supporters of the interests of dairy farmers, processors, and dairy product retailers, congratulate all those working in this agro-industrial area, wishing them a heartfelt Happy World Milk Day, and encourage consumers to drink milk and consume dairy products daily.
